Moscow First Principle

MoSCoW  is an agile prioritisation technique and the first you should use to reach a common understanding with stakeholders as to the importance they place on the delivery of each requirement or project:

Must ... Should ... Could ... Won't do?

Is everyone agile?

'Agile' has become a poisoned word.  It's extremely fashionable to describe a company, department,  team or project as agile when in fact they are very traditional.

If you start to describe yourself as agile stop for a moment and consider if you value:

Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
Working software over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan

Do you use a methodology such as SCRUM that is simple, easy to learn and focuses at its heart on the items on the left before the items on the right.  If you do then you are genuinely Agile so be proud of it.  The results you achieve for your customers will speak for themselves!
